RoryCatch Carp Spains’ junior angler Rory on his first session on Sierra Brava bags a 28lb mirror. Nine year old Rory is the son of the owner of Catch Carp Spain and has been carping since he was 4 years old.
He has spent the last 5 years fishing on the lakes of Andalucia, has had lots of success catching large numbers of carp up to 9lb, but has been keen for some time to try his hand for the monster carp of Extremadura.  After receiving a new rod for Christmas, this March he had his first 3 day session with his father on Sierra Brava.
RoryThings started well, with Rory bagging 4 or 5 carp in the 10 – 18lb bracket, whilst also losing a few monsters.  On the last day he finally managed to get one of the biggies to the net, which turned out to be this cracking 28lb kipper.  Everyone at Catch Carp Spain is mighty proud of Rory and will keep you posted on his progress.
